Module 1 - Introduction to Maternity Photography

- Explore the nuances of posing for fashion editorial portraits versus traditional maternity portraiture.

Module 3 - Lighting Techniques
Lighting is a cornerstone of photography, and in our workshop, we'll delve deep into both natural and artificial lighting techniques to help you master the art of illumination.

We'll begin by harnessing the beauty of natural light within our Mommy Shots studio. Natural light offers a soft, flattering glow that can enhance the warmth and intimacy of newborn and maternity portraits. 

-	Artificial Light (Strobes):
Transitioning to artificial light, specifically strobes, opens up a world of creative possibilities and control. You'll learn advanced techniques for shaping and manipulating light to achieve your desired aesthetic.
Lighting Styles Covered:

-	Split Light:
Split lighting creates a bold, dramatic effect by dividing the subject's face evenly into light and shadow. You'll learn how to position your light source to achieve striking split lighting and how to control contrast for maximum impact.

-	Hollywood Lighting Style:
Emulate the classic glamour of Hollywood portraits with this iconic lighting style. Discover how to sculpt light to accentuate your subject's features while creating captivating highlights and shadows for a timeless look.

-	One Light, Five Ways:
Master the art of versatility with a single light source. Explore five different lighting setups using just one strobe, demonstrating the power of creativity and resourcefulness in achieving a variety of looks and moods.

Even Light:
Achieve soft, even illumination across your subject with this essential lighting style. Learn techniques for creating balanced lighting that minimizes harsh shadows and highlights, perfect for capturing the delicate features of newborns and expectant mothers.
